My name is Teko Johnson graduating Senior, finance major attending Morehouse College.
Thank you “Bank Leumi” for your commitment through the “We Got You” grant in partnership with HFF— helping me finish my last semester of college. I have worked tirelessly over the last 4 years to ensure that I complete my matriculation through Morehouse College. As an aspiring financial analyst, I am grateful for this financial relief.
As a minority from Chicago’s storied south side— I know that my commitment to community is truly set by being an example; Bank Leumi has helped make my plan possible by affording me the means to pay—my unpaid semester balance. I will forever be grateful for the help provided and hope that I may establish relationships within the bank as I develop.
I want to thank “Herrendorf Family Foundation ” for its commitment to my future. The grant awarded to me enables me to complete my final semester in college. Moms Offering More (MOM) is a community-driven initiative with support from the Oprah Winfrey Charitable Foundation, bringing together like-minded women dedicated to supporting historically underserved youth and families in the United States and Canada. MOM goes beyond traditional philanthropic endeavors, serving as a source of hope, offering a hand-up rather than a handout.
Our primary objective is to extend a helping hand to organizations across the United States that serve single mothers, invest in maternal and postnatal health services, assist mothers in pursuing new opportunities, and support families facing multifaceted challenges. We provide comprehensive support, including financial assistance and wrap-around services, to help families break down barriers and thrive. MOM will bring awareness to initiatives that directly impact women who are raising the next generation of changemakers.
